Each year, the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) presents national awards recognizing the nation’s safest moving and storage company truck and van fleets. The awards recognize overall safety, improvement in safety, and creativity and leadership in safety program design.
This year, we are pleased to announce that JK Moving Services is a double winner, recognized in the both the Under 10 Million Miles and Safety Improvement Award categories.
The Mileage awards are based on annual miles traveled and presented to the interstate carrier that has the best weighted combination of the lowest U.S. Department of Transportation recordable accident rate per million miles of vehicle operation, and the lowest vehicle and driver out-of-service rate. The Safety Improvement Award recognizes a carrier’s successful efforts to reduce the incidence of accidents.
These awards demonstrate JK’s dedication to safety across the enterprise to ensure the security of our customers’ belongings, the well-being of our employees, and the strength of our fleet.
