Each year, the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) presents national awards recognizing the nation’s safest moving and storage company truck and van fleets. The awards recognize overall safety, improvement in safety, and creativity and leadership in safety program design.
We are pleased to announce that JK Moving Services has been named the winner of a Fleet Safety Award in the 5-10 Million Miles category. This is the fifth AMSA Fleet Safety Award for JK Moving in the past six years.
AMSA considers annual miles traveled for the Mileage awards and recognizes the interstate carrier with the best weighted combination of the lowest U.S. Department of Transportation recordable accident rate per million miles of vehicle operation and the lowest vehicle and driver out-of-service rate.
According to a recent Association release, AMSA President and CEO Scott Michael said, “The American Moving & Storage Association proudly honors these winners for their record of excellence in safe vehicle operations. They have demonstrated a strong commitment to the highest level of safety for their customers and themselves. Their track records are an inspiration to the entire moving and storage industry to strive for success is safe vehicle operations.”
