2020 has been an unusual year, to say the least. In the spring, the pandemic put the world on pause. As time passed, people began adjusting to the next normal, and they started moving again.
JK Moving has seen an unprecedented shift within the moving industry this year. Peak moving season usually begins in May and lasts through the summer months into September. This year it began a little later in late June, and has continued late into the fall. People are looking to relocate from densely populated cities to places where they have more space to work and play, particularly if they are able to work remotely.
We wanted to share with you some of the shifts we’ve noticed in our customers’ moving patterns this year compared to last.
