If you’ve ever worked with someone who can keep a big-picture plan in their head while still caring deeply about the person in front of them, you will understand Jeni Cipparuolo right away. Jeni joined JK in February 2025 as a Moving Consultant and has recently stepped into a Business Development role, continuing to grow her impact across the organization.
A people-first career path (with a few surprising chapters)
Jeni did not start out in the moving and relocation industry. Her career has been wide-ranging, including time as a government contractor at The Pentagon and even running a staging and design business.
What drew her into this industry, though, was the human side of the work. She quickly realized how much she enjoys working directly with people, solving problems, and helping clients through major life transitions.
When asked about her favorite kinds of moves, her answer is immediate and heartfelt, senior downsizing. She loves helping clients feel settled in a new home that improves their quality of life.
Why JK
Jeni was drawn to JK because of its culture, reputation in the moving and relocation industry, and commitment to quality. From day one, she was impressed by JK’s supportive environment and recognized the company leadership’s investment in employee growth.
Her favorite part of working at JK is the people. She enjoys working with such a driven, collaborative team that is genuinely invested in delivering a great customer experience.
A proud moment that shaped her
One of Jeni’s proudest achievements happened outside the typical “career ladder.” She spent three years as a high school English teacher in Asunción, Paraguay, an experience that pushed her outside her comfort zone and proved what she could accomplish with confidence and courage.

Jeni’s life outside of work
Jeni is a mom of three children (ages 11, 9, and 7), and she’s close with family and friends, many of whom live in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids, exploring the sights in DC and going to the beach. Jeni also likes to keep healthy by running while listening to music.
Advice for anyone new to the moving and relocation industry
Jeni’s advice is practical, direct, and rooted in what actually builds trust with clients. “Be curious and ask questions. Build relationships early. Don’t be afraid to learn by doing. Stay organized, stay genuine, and keep the customer’s needs at the center of everything you do,” she says. She also believes that a client-focused approach protects the integrity of the business.
What Jeni is working toward
Right now, Jeni has a personal goal that connects back to her design and renovation interests. She would like to purchase an investment property in Western Loudoun County, then make updates (including light construction) and redesign it both structurally and aesthetically.
Things you might not know about Jeni
Jeni lived overseas for six years in Mexico and South America, and learned Spanish through immersion.
Jeni points to the book Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis as something that has impacted her life. She shares that it helped her see faith in a new way and gave her a framework that continues to shape her choices, character, and relationship with God.
Jeni Cipparuolo is a strong example of what makes the JK team different. She combines professionalism and precision with genuine care for the people we serve and works closely with clients, operations, and partners to ensure every detail is accounted for. We’re proud to have her on the JK team, and grateful for the steady, people-first energy she brings to every relocation.
