Doane Named HR VP for JK Moving Services

JK Moving Services has named Andrew Doane as vice president of Human Resources, reporting to COO Chad Marston. Doane who most recently served as senior vice president for HR at CACI International, takes over for Andrea Bunch, who retired after many years of service.

By cultivating an outstanding workplace, we ensure that our customers receive the best service and products,” JK Moving Services CEO Chuck Kuhn stated in the announcement. “Andy’s leadership will build on the great work of his predecessor Andrea Bunch, who recently retired from JK.”
Doane comes to JK, the largest independently owned and operated moving company in North America, with more than three decades of experience leading transformational people strategies across Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies, and complex global organizations.
He is recognized for aligning talent strategy with business objectives, driving organizational change, and building high-performing teams in highly dynamic environments.

Most recently, Doane served as senior vice president at CACI International, where he led enterprise-wide benefits strategy and HR operations supporting more than 24,000 employees worldwide. During his tenure, he directed large-scale workforce planning initiatives, organizational transformation efforts, and benefits modernization programs that delivered significant cost savings and enhanced employee engagement.

Prior to his corporate leadership roles, Doane held senior executive positions with the National Reconnaissance Office, including acting director of Human Resources and deputy director of Human Resources. There, he led major workforce modernization initiatives, succession planning strategies, executive talent programs, and HR operations supporting one of the nation’s most mission-critical intelligence organizations. He also served with distinction in the U.S. Air Force, where he held multiple command and senior HR leadership assignments, overseeing global personnel operations, enterprise HR systems, and large-scale workforce support functions. He holds a master’s degree in human relations from University of Oklahoma and a bachelor’s of Science in Sociology from Iowa State University.

In his role at JK, he will lead a company that includes JK Moving, along with its sister companies CapReloJK Technology Services, and JK Land Holdings, which employs nearly 1,200 people—a majority of whom live in the Washington, DC metropolitan region. The company has won numerous awards, including being recognized by the Washington Business Journal as a Best Place to Work and Top Corporate Philanthropist.
