October 30, 2013

Firm Indexed #1 of 90 Carriers Worldwide

Sterling, VA—October 31, 2013—JK Moving Services, a full-service moving company founded in 1981 and specializing in residential, commercial, and international moving and storage, today announced it has been indexed as the top-ranked international Transportation Services Provider (TSP) by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).

The GSA’s Centralized Household Goods Traffic Management Program (CHAMP) ranks carriers using a Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score. The CSI indicates individual performance against the average level of customer satisfaction across all companies participating in CHAMP. Of the 90 international carriers approved to participate in CHAMP, only 20 earned a CSI score.

Additionally, JK Moving Services was ranked in the top ten of all moving companies domestically, in the same program. Out of 220 domestic carriers in CHAMP, JK indexed in the eighth position.

“Providing the highest level of satisfaction to all customers has always been our priority,” said JK Moving Services’ Founder, CEO, and President, Charles Kuhn. “We have been honored to serve our federal government since 2002, and these top rankings serve as proof of our dedication and commitment.”

To provide moving services for the U.S. Government, a carrier must adhere to stringent regulations, maintain compliance with the Household Goods Tender of Service (HTOS), and is subject to inspections, audits, and performance evaluations.

For over 30 years, JK Moving Services has provided local, long distance, and international relocation services to a variety of commercial, residential, and government clients. Headquartered in Sterling, Virginia, the company maintains a full-time, professionally trained staff of relocation and move management experts committed to providing the highest level of customer care.
