Sterling-based Company Moves Bush, Clinton Families in Same Week
February 20, 2009—Sterling, Va.— JK Moving & Storage Inc. (JK) has no political preferences when it comes to the moving and storage of a customer's goods.
Yesterday, the Sterling, VA-based company completed the move of President Bush's personal belongings into their new home in Dallas, TX, and today, the area's largest independent and privately-owned mover transferred items from the home of Former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's into storage. Of particular note was the move of President Clinton's famous desk, which followed him from Little Rock to the Oval Office. The desk, which he recently refinished and renovated, was placed in a special, controlled storage facility.

"We have had a nice working relationship with the Clinton family and have handled several moves for them over the years," said JK Executive Vice President Steve Kuhn."And after having hosted President Bush for his Economic Address in January 2006, we developed a strong working relationship with his administration as well."
JK is no stranger to providing services to the Federal Government. In addition to facilitating moves for Senators, Congressmen, Cabinet members and several presidential administrations, the company also stores documents in secure, climate-controlled storage units with immediate, 'round-the-clock access.
