For more than 25 years, we have focused on being innovative.  Through our customer service practices to our training, employee benefits and operations.  We have always been conscious of how our business affects the community and environment around us.  We may not be there yet, but we have made a commitment to "Moving toward sustainability" and our employees are working daily to improve.

> The Boxless MoveTM  utilizes plastic crates instead of boxes, pioneered this technology in the Washington, DC market in 2000

Transportation
> Aggressive fleet re-use programs

> Recycle batteries for both vehicles and fork lifts

> All truck purchased since inception exceed existing emissions standards - through industry partnerships with Volvo and Freightliner 
> Intermodal (rail) transport used for long hauls when feasible
> Upgraded power units (on tractor trailers) with environmentally friendly generators to drastically reduce idling
> Vehicles use ultra low sulfur diesel to reduce emissions
