JK Open House a Success Print E-mail

Nearly 300 attendees crowd headquarter Campus

JK hosted nearly 300 community business leaders, executives, and friends for an Open House on Thursday, March 26.  The event provided an opportunity for current customers and prospects to learn more about JK's operations, tour the 27-acre campus, and learn more about how JK's mobility products and services can add value and reduce the stress and complexity of any relocation.

The event also provided an opportunity for JK to raise awareness and funds for the Believe in Lucas Clark Foundation.  A charity of focus for JK in 2009, Believe in Lucas was established in honor of Lucas Cade Clark, the child of a long-time employee who was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).  SMA is a relatively common "rare disorder" ; approximately 1 in 6,000 babies born are affected, and about 1 in 40 people are genetic carriers.
