Habitat for Humanity finds new home in Leesburg

October 13 - Leesburg ,VA - Loudoun Habitat for Humanity, the non-profit that provides affordable homes for those in need in Loudoun County has recently moved their offices from Purcellville, VA to Leesburg, VA. Their new address is 109 Harrison Street, NE. This new location was chosen to help meet the growing needs of the organization and staff and is in close proximity to the ReStore facility that will be opening in the near future in downtown Leesburg as well. The ReStore will sell new and used building materials to the general public and the proceeds will be used to help build decent, affordable homes for local families in need.

The move was facilitated and overseen by JK Moving & Storage, Inc. (www.jkmoving.com) located in Sterling, VA. JK Moving & Storage generously donated their time, services and trucks to handle the move. Rocco Balsamo, Director of Commercial Services, said, "JK has supported many regional Habitat for Humanity projects over the years, and what better way to continue this relationship than to assist with the relocation of their Loudoun County offices. Our focus is to provide an efficient transition so that Habitat employees get up and running quickly, and can return to helping those in need."

Alta Jones, President of Loudoun Habitat stated, "We are indebted to JK Moving & Storage for their assistance, professional experience and their support. It made the move a much easier experience."
