Kids R First, Walmart, Office Depot Provide School Supplies

July 31 - Sterling, Va.- It's amazing how fast summer goes by--many of our area's students are already gearing up for the new school year.  Unfortunately, a surprising number of students struggle to obtain the supplies and resources needed to start the year off right.  JK Moving & Storage has partnered with Kids R First, a local not-for-profit organization focused on providing these necessary supplies to our areas youth. 

Working with dedicated partners, Office Depot and Walmart, JK has assisted Kids R First in transporting enough materials to prepare more than 15,000 area students for the school year.  Volunteers at Langston Hughes Middle School in Reston dedicate two weeks to sort and box donated and purchased school supplies to be disseminated in the coming weeks.
