Scope: Perform surveys and estimates for residential relocation activities. Professionally represents the company in selling moving and storage services to residential homeowners. Supports and implements the policies and procedures of JK Moving & Storage, Inc. Assures compliance with all applicable Federal and State Laws. Qualifications: Prior moving & storage or relocation experience preferred. Demonstrated experience providing account management, service coordination, and customer services/sales to residential, commercial, or government clients. Must be professional, articulate, and possess a sales or sales management background. Experience/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of sales experience required. Duties and Responsibilities: • Performs accurate on-site moving surveys and estimates for individuals planning to move locally, intrastate or interstate. Follows pricing guidelines as established by JK Moving & Storage. • Networks and markets company services within the target markets. Prospects, establishes and maintains relationships with customers. Creates opportunities for future business. • Achieves quarterly performance standards as mutually established with Manager, Residential Sales. • Completes sales paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Documents all estimates with any special packing and delivery instructions. Communicates all customer expectations to Move Coordinator and operations. • Follows-up periodically on pending estimates and maintains information in designated system. • Responds and follows-up on customer’s questions and issues prior to, during and after move. Assists in the resolution of billing, claims, or collection issues. • Maintains, updates and fulfills calendar of appointments. Regularly monitors e-mail and voice mail for customer and company communications. • Attends all branch and corporate sales meetings, conferences, and training seminars as required. • Submits required sales and expense reports in an accurate and timely manner. • Develops new market ideas and assists in developing and implementing sales and/or marketing plans. • Achieves a minimum of 4.0 average score on customer survey responses. • Performs other duties, and tasks, as assigned. |
