Scope:
Manages, plans, coordinates, and directs the activities of the Residential COD Sales Team. Sales Manager is responsible for training, leading, mentoring, recruiting, coaching, counseling, and evaluating COD sales staff in all activities related to sales operation, growth, innovation, automation, and generation of revenue through traditional and inspired methods.

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated sales, leadership and revenue generating abilities in an outside sales arena.
• B.S. in Business or comparative discipline.
• Ability to lead, motive, and mentor top sales producers while developing new and junior team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for budget development and tracking/reporting COD sales activities and accomplishments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Coordinating/communicating with shared services, customer service support teams, and operations staff to ensure the highest level of client service and satisfaction.
• Coordinating special marketing, promotion, and sales initiatives/activities (and costs) with the CEO in advance.
• Monitoring and controlling the "cost of sales" to meet, or out-perform, prior years' validated costs.
• Attends and participates in JK Management meetings.
• Plans, organizes, coordinates, directs and controls the activities of the JKMS COD Sales team to include marketing, sales, training, motivation, and team-building.
• Seeks revenue growth and increased profitability opportunities and initiates actions to secure new business and to elevate sales revenue.
• Develops, implements and maintains a three (3) year business plan that addresses:
  • Sales, marketing, service coordination and operations.
  • Initiatives for new business opportunities (records storage/management, high value products - Valet Services, fulfillment, utilization, and automation)
  • Administrative support needs in the areas of Accounting, Information Systems, Claims, Human
  • Resources, Safety/Compliance, and automation.
• Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting mechanisms and works with Information Technology (IT) Division to incorporate and develop technology automation as it relates to sales and service.
• Ensures appropriate documentation and timely interface with the Accounting Department to include timely submission of files, customer data, budget and submission deadlines, etc.
• Supervises, mentors, and evaluates staff continually and in accordance with an established annualized performance review schedule.
• Ensures quality control of surveys, estimates, and inspections to ensure compliance with JKMS standards, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Directs JKMS COD Sales Meeting on a scheduled weekly basis and reports to the CEO concerning performance measures:
  • Sales statistics and benchmarks
  • Budgetary compliance
  • Customer satisfaction
  • New Sales Initiatives
  • Training
  • Successes/Misses
  • Benchmarks
  • Ensures a positive, working relationship with other JKMS departments and activities.
  • Sets and exceeds revenue goals.
