SCOPE:

 The Sales Representative is responsible for local business development/sales, architecting, promoting, and cultivation of business opportunities for the Capital Records & Information Management (CRIM) product and services. The Sales Representative will identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within the records retention and information management services opportunities for existing and new clients. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five plus years in Document Management Solutions sales preferred.
  • College degree or equivalent.
  • Exceptional proven and effective strategic sales and analytical skills along with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into solution requirements.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of customer personnel on a wide range of topics and issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and to multi-task on a daily basis.
  • Technical aptitude for records management software applications.  Competent with Windows-based Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong presentation skills including solutions for prospects (in-person and via web marketing).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prospect and qualify leads via telemarketing, referrals, etc., to obtain maximum sales and potential volume from all markets.
  • Set up appointments and make sales presentations.
  • Participate in local marketing activities including trade shows and direct marketing programs to promote CRIM’s services and identity.
  • Prepare special or standard proposals including, pricing quotations, terms of sales and transfer dates as requested by potential customers.
  • Plan, develop, and execute sales strategy and tailor to potential clients.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive services, promotional materials, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies.
  • Utilize resources and perform research to determine sales patterns and strategies.
  • Understand and maintain current knowledge on the company's products, services, features, benefits and applications for CRIM services and systems. Convey basic record management and document storage product knowledge to customers.
  • Communicate and interface with operations regarding customer implementation, set-up, operations, special conditions, warehousing services, electronic data management and retrieval, etc.
  • Promote CRIM’s service offerings and promote upsell and value added for existing accounts.
  • Utilize contact management software to track leads and target market segments.
  • Ensure marketing and sales systems (CRM) is updated with accurate and complete information.
  • Work with CRIM Manager, GM and Divisional Sales Manager to identify market changes and revise sales strategies as appropriate.
  • Comply with Company sales and reporting guidelines.
  • Represent CRIM at trade shows and Open House, and networking events.
  • Special projects as assigned.
