Management Team

David Macpherson heads up the growing international division at JK Moving Services, supervising each and every overseas move. He has spent the last 30 years devising and perfecting procedures to ensure customers’ belongings arrive in their new country safely and securely.

A native of Scotland, Macpherson has managed numerous international moves for his own family, so he’s keenly aware of the many issues often associated with global relocation. In his position at JK, he has assembled a team of experts who are able to flawlessly negotiate any situation that may arise concerning customs, security and claims.

Before joining JK, Macpherson worked in the container shipping line business with numerous U.S. and European companies. Later, in Canada, he served as V.P. of Sales and General Manager for North American Van Lines Canada, and represented them on the Canadian Association of Movers (CAM) and Canadian ERC (CERC).

Domestically, Macpherson has worked with several relocation groups, becoming highly regarded for his charismatic training expertise. He holds his CRP and has spoken regularly at ERC Global events. He has coordinated sales conference and agent meeting events in Canada and the U.S. for groups of up to 1000 attendees.

Macpherson is an active FIDI USA board member, serving as Secretary. With the same tireless enthusiasm he brings to JK, Macpherson helps the premiere organization set new standards for overseas moving and storage.
